odden Allen Lawn is a responsive, customer-focused practice that offers a comprehensive range of architectural and building surveying services. Our emphasis is on combining a high quality service with a dynamic, creative and imaginative approach. The practice was started in 1976 by Peter Godden, who was joined by Paul Allen in 1979. Godden Allen Lawn was born when Nick Lawn joined as a Partner in June 2007. Paul Allen has since retired and in October 2011 Nigel Curtis was welcomed as a Partner. While we are proud of our 45-year reputation and continue to embrace traditional values and standards of service, the forward thinking practice embraces the best new ideas and makes good use of modern technology.
"The Battle of Britain Memorial Trust was more than impressed with the iconic design for the new Wing building at the National Memorialto the Few. To use the shape of the Spitfire wing was as inspired as it was simple." Richard Hunting CBE, Trust Chairman

"We engaged Godden Allen Lawn to design and manage an £800,000 refurbishment and extension to our village hall. Not only did they provide a stunning design which blended the new and existing structures, but they managed the construction phase with real professionalism and attention to detail. Added to this they were a real pleasure to work with. We would have no hesitation in working with them again." Simon Cavalier, Barham Village Hall Trust
